The project seeks to provide hands on training on the flagship instruments of EU criminal law: the European Arrest Warrant, the European Investigation Order, the EU procedural guarantees legislation, and the Council Framework Decisions on detention and transfer of prisoners. The trainings will specifically explore, how to respond to the fundamental rights and rule of law concerns in relation to certain EU Member States while administering EU mutual recognition criminal law instruments in the post–Aranyosi/Celmer era.
