The EHPN serves as a collaborative hub for EU Member States’ policymakers, fostering cross-border dialogue and knowledge sharing. By uniting policymakers and experts, the EHPN seeks to empower Member States to champion housing justice and ensure access to safe, affordable, and sustainable housing for all citizens.
The main goal of the Network is the development and transfer of knowledge in housing policy, with the ambition to improve housing policy foresight, design and implementation on key issues such as residential housing, public housing, quality of living environment, housing market, sustainability and efficiency of buildings. The EHPN seeks to promote the following concrete activities:
• To facilitate regular cross-border peer-to-peer exchanges between Network members on recurrent and topical housing policy issues;
• To provide an informal and trusted environment for ad-hoc and spontaneous collaborations/consultations on pending work files;
• To consolidate and regularly update a repository of additional knowledge sources on housing;
• To facilitate the identification and engagement of highly specialised external expertise.
